ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project is implemented in Hussainabad block of Palamu
district, Jharkhand and Varanasi District of Uttar Pradesh. The
aim of the project is to initiate a youth-led campaign to end
violence against women. It develops and support youth leadership and provide them with knowledge and skill to initiate a change in their surroundings.
OBJECTIVE
·To sensitize and train a group of about 50 young men and women (14-25 years old) from target population on how to tackle violence against women
·To sensitize and mobilize community members to raise their demands and create community structures to act against VAW
·To coordinate and liaising with key officers/structures/PRIs to continuously coordinate with the community on VAW and efficiently address community demands by providing required services.
