Institutional Capacity Building
The capacity building programs of SSK caters to the need of strengthening organisational development aspects of CSOs who are engaged in bringing about social change and believe in people centred development with due regard to gender mainstreaming. SSK conducts a number of short and long duration training programmes like Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation, Process Documentation, Field Workers' Development, Leadership Development, Training of Trainers (TOT) on Participatory training methodology, PRA, SHG Facilitation etc. Some training are for Chief Functionaries, some are for middle management level and some cater to the need of community level functionaries.
The training program comprises two types:
- Demand based and customized training programs – This kind of training programs are organized based on the specific needs of the client.
- Announced training programs – These kind of training programs are organized by SSK on regular basis and large number of participants from different organizations participate in these programs
